  1. Each program uses its own data file that requires either three to seven
  2. entries.  The data file tells the program: Display width (40 or 80), text
  3. color, background color, the display delay in milliseconds, the transition
  4. control selection (press any key, timed, or continuous), the American
  5. Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) code number of the
  6. character to be used for the moving bar and screen cover (not required by
  7. SHOW1.EXE), and for RANRE.EXE (only) whether to include a random character
  8. cover.  In SHOW1.EXE the data files only have a limited control of the
  9. color plan.  The data required by BOX.EXE is not related to other programs
  10. and is specified below.
